At the time of writing this it has almost been a week after the event, and I am going on holiday for an extended weekend to relax. It was hard work, long hours, loads of uncertainty but what really made it worth it was the team. The incredible people we have been able to convince to join Startup Garage who are always willing to help, put their best foot forward and most of all have fun on the job but also know how to be serious. Now those kinds of people are the best people and I think we have been incredibly lucky to find them. Without further ado I will mention the event was a major success and an incredible experience and I hope to make many more of these events in the future. But now I want to talk a bit about my journey on this event, a few problems we tackled and how we found solutions.

The branding of the event went quite smoothly, me and Grace came up with concepts and then we just combined them. From there we started doing some socials, planning posts and the like. First it was really hard to pick up people and catch their attention, after we got it it was hard to keep but so the journey goes. We did a lot of social media promotion through this event specifically from Facebook and Instagram. I think this was very good in catching our target market i.e. startup interested youth. What I would definitely do more of would be active promotion within TalTech and Tallinn, maybe even go to other universities. Send people to classrooms wearing a poster of the event on their bag or holding it with their notes. I think especially closer to the event it would get the buzz going a lot quicker and might produce a lot more engagement as this time we sold 500 tickets, around 7 of those paying guests and 300 people attended.
